2:00 PM Energy LOW!

In addition we saw an opportunity to utilize a local product with Nick Porsia proprietor of Spill the Beans a gourmet roaster and high brow cafe located in Troy New York.  We have infused his Monsooned Malabar India which is loaded with caffeine a full bodied brew, rich and smooth adds to this luxury cream.

RAD’s Caffeinated Latte Body Cream is an exuberant body cream with quick absorption that is lush, conditioning and a body smoother that simultaneously soothes the skin.  It offers free radical protection, restores skin health with an irreverent daytime gourmand blend of coffee, vanilla, sweet and rich with notes of rum and coconut. I love this cream and here’s why it works:

Most of our products start with Shea Butter and its superior quality has a rich creamy texture.  Shea Butter is known for its moisturizing and emollient properties. It is used as a base for medicinal ointments, and has been claimed to have anti-inflammatory properties. Rich in vitamins and fatty acids, Shea Butter penetrates deeply into the skin and leaves a smooth, satiny finish. It is also said to have natural antioxidant properties; and the naturally occurring cinnamic acid provides UV protection for the skin.

Camellia Flower

We then include Camellia Seed oil which is wild flower which grows in China and Japan. This natural plant oil contains anti-oxidants that help to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin.  Camellia oil protects the skin from free radical damage, refines mature skin, and nourishes the complexion. It is easily absorbed by the skin, leaving it silky smooth without the greasy feeling, making it one of the best kept secret which creates its unique feel.

In addition we blend Rice Bran Carrier Oilwhich is extracted from the bran or outer coat of the brown rice grain removed during the milling process. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins and essential oils. Rice Bran Oil also has constituents believed to hinder UV rays absorption at the skin’s surface.

Rice Bran

Rice Bran Carrier Oil has a high percentage of fatty acids and is one of the best sources of tocotrienols, an antioxidant that may be much more powerful and effective than Vitamin E. It is mild oil perfect for dry/flaky, sensitive, mature and/or delicate skin (e.g. baby), where additional moisture is required and is effective for keeping skin smooth.  Rice Bran Carrier Oil contains a compound called gamma-oryzanol, a component that can impede the progress of melanin pigmentation by restoring the erythematic activity of the tyrosinase enzyme as it intercepts the UV rays at the skin’s surface, hindering UV ray transmission.

And last but not least we infused Monsooned Malabar India coffee with high caffeine concentration.  While coffee is often associated with that morning pick me up there have been many noted benefits to coffee and skin.

Coffee Good For the Skin!

The Live Strongweb site states that “caffeine in coffee has a number of benefits for your skin, from treating redness and inflammation, to reducing the appearance of under-eye circles, to getting rid of cellulite. By incorporating caffeine into your skin care routine, you can reveal evenly toned, smooth skin all over your body.”  I hope you will give this a try and as always “We Love RAD Because it Works”!
